The core hardware component to Digital Acoustics' paging solution is the modular IP7- SS8/SS20 Audio Amplifier. The IP7 series can drive 8-Ohm speakers, or multiple speakers in an array. With the addition of a universal 25/70V transformer, a series of speakers can be powered by a single IP7 with the quantity of speakers determined by required output levels. With a maximum output of 20 watts the SS20 (8 Ohms) is capable of driving paging horns with sound pressure levels in excess of 120 db SPL. For low output applications (<8 watts) the SS8 and SE8 can use Power of Ethernet (POE).

The flexible IP7 series product family supports paging over 25/70v line amps, desktop paging microphones and handsets. Hardware endpoint supports powering over PoE and daisy-chaining connections via dual-port RJ45  dual-port (SE8 only) and support for  horns, weatherproof enclosures , ceiling panels, wall panels, desktop and vandal proof speakers
